Biography of Judy Webber
Judy Webber graduated from Mid-America Nazarene University, a liberal arts
college with a degree in chemistry and biology about a hundred years ago.
She worked 13 years at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center
in the Department of Molecular Genetics as a research associate, " We studied
genetic diseases related to cholesterol metabolism." Next she changed careers
and taught chemistry, aquatic science and principals of technology at Allen
High School for three years before teaching Chemistry, AP Chemistry and AP
Biology at Wylie High School for the past 7 years. During that time she was
the Science Department Head for 6 years.
Today Ms. Webber is the Curriculum Coach for Burnett Junior High School in
Wylie where she is loved by all her teachers for her quirky sense of humor
and gifted instructional abilities. In her spare time she teaches Science
Pedagogy at Collin County Junior College. She joined the team at Timothy B.
Jones, Ed.D. in 2011 and has already made content contributions that have
touched all the area consultants.
